JOB PURPOSE
The Distributor Manager shall be responsible for the channel management. The aim is to assist dealers and implement guidelines and processes in line with construction global standards. The Dealer Development Manager will play a key role in supporting the growth of the business in a professional and coherent way.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Channel Management under Global Segment guidelines.
Dealer communication programs and policies.
Dealer review process, implementation and execution.
Standardize and implement use of contract standards with external parties.
Dealer selection under global segment guidelines.
Arbitrator in cases of internal conflict.
Collective market trend data and competitive intelligence.
Market surveys and opportunity research information.
To make up development plans of dealers as different regions conditions.
Organize marketing promotion activities about construction product of the dealers in regions.
To manage and coordinate marketing promotion work, make up management regulations accordingly and provide reasonable training plan.
To establish the sales mission of dealers in the region and ensure the regional sales target achievement.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
A well-developed understanding of the construction industry would be advantageous.
Successful track record in dealer management and development.
Exposure to sales planning systems would be an advantage.
A proven record in communication skills.
Knowledge of, and experience with construction.
EXPERIENCE
Several years of experience within the product line(s), sales and people management as stated above
Experience from construction customers
Preferably having a relationship with Sandvik factories for the product line(s)
Relevant geographical market experience
EDUCATION
Preferably university degree
LICENCES & CERTIFICATES
Drivers license
OTHER INFORMATION
Computer literate
Professional written and spoken English and local language.
